I started Just Blinded Book Reviews back in late June ’08 after I received my first ARC for HarperTeen’s FirstLook program. Soon after that I started this blog because I realized my great love of book reviewing. Now that little blog that I started last year has flourished beyond anything I could’ve ever expected when I first started blogging. Thanks for taking the time to stop by here!


Review Policy:


I review mainly Young Adult books, though I sometimes accept MG books. There isn’t really any genre I tend to lean toward to so I’ll review pretty much anything YA. I do not except e-books or self published books at this time, sorry.

This blog is a personal blog written and edited by me. This blog does not accept any form of advertising, sponsorship, or paid insertions. However, I do accept and keep advanced reading copies from authors, publishers, and publicists.


This blog abides by word of mouth marketing standards. I believe in honesty of relationship, opinion and identity. The books I review on the blog are a mixture of library books, purchases, review copies courtesy of the publisher, finished copies from the publisher, review copies courtesy of authors, and ARCs. Not all books are reviewed and I make no guarantees as to a review timeline. Books are not guaranteed a positive review and I do post negative reviews sometimes.
